It began in Koh Phangan
Nelly, from Serbia, and Apple, from north-eastern Thailand, met on the island of Koh Phangan — and found a shared passion for Thai cuisine and a vision to create something extraordinary of their own.
Learned at eleven
Apple started cooking at just eleven, learning her mother's recipes — the kind passed down through generations. That same love and dedication goes into every dish she prepares today: each meal a celebration of Thai culinary heritage.
Born in 2017
They turned the dream into Big Bad Thai — a table where traditional Thai flavour meets the natural beauty of El Nido. Every dish is crafted from fresh, local ingredients and authentic Thai spices, nothing watered down.
